This is about groups, the life and work of a man preoccupied with the future of humanity. His principal objectives and the events of his time mark the six stages in which this work is presented. The last two unfold in the context of Grup d’Anàlisi Barcelona, a regular and continuous space of analytic reflection founded together and shared with colleagues.

During the last four years it became ever more obvious that our way of presenting the life and work of Juan and his colleagues implies a certain amount of interpretation. If at all possible, this is even more so the moment we decide to give a separate space to the English content of the page. We fully assume the inevitable direct and indirect interpretations we make and hope they will be a basis of dialogue with “past, present and future co-operators”, friends and colleagues interested in groupanalysis.
